WordPress's cool feature of password-protected post finally lured me over to their camp. I must say I'm very disappointed with their even buggier post editor (not to say blogspot's one isn't buggy enough, just that WordPress's is worse!) but still the move is for greater convenience for private posts and for limited access posts.
